Intern Queen Special Talk


Hartwick College and SUNY Oneonta Join Together In Welcoming  Acclaimed "Intern Queen" Lauren Berger for Talk

On Wednesday February 27, at SUNY Oneonta in Hunt Union Ballroom and Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Hartwick College in Slade Theater, Yager Hall
SUNY Oneonta and Hartwick College both welcome Lauren Berger, Founder and CEO of Intern Queen Inc., best-selling author, and leading internship and workplace expert.

 In her talk, Berger tells her personal stories of how she made the most of her opportunities and managed an unprecedented 15 internships in her 4 years of College. Her take on the internships application process, resumes, cover letters, interviews, social media, internship trends, managing a jolo anol internship, handeling paid Vs. unpaid internships, and turning an internship into a job. All are encouraged to attend either event, which will take place at 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 7 p.m. on Thursday. The lecture is free to all college students and the public.

 Berger is the author of one of the best-selling career books in the country, "All Work, No Pay: Finding an Internship, Building Your Resume, Making Connections, and Gaining Job Experience." a book, which assists readers in obtaining the perfect internship. Berger has also spoken to thousands of high school and college students across the country. She has a weekly advice column with the Washington Post website and has been recently featured in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Fox Business, the New York Post, AOL, Alloy.com, YPulse.com, E!News.com, Yahoo Business, MarieClaire.com, and many more.
