OSHA Training

OSHA Training

The Workforce Investment Boards in Chenango, Delaware, Herkimer, Madison, Oneida & Otsego counties are pursuing a training grant for employers who need OSHA and other safety training for new or current employees.

OSHA offers a wide selection of training courses and educational programs to help broaden worker and employer knowledge on the recognition, avoidance, and prevention of safety and health hazards in their workplaces. OSHA also offers training and educational materials that help businesses train their workers and comply with the Occupational Safety and Health Act.

Any safety training is eligible for this application, not just OSHA.

Any employers interested in receiving/developing/participating in specific safety training should send an email to me atasavino@working-solutions.org.  We will contact each employer to understand their specific need, number to be trained and the process.  If appropriate that training will become part of the application and IF we are successful in the application award will proceed to provide the requested training.

Employer participation in this step is critical to getting the funding so please let us know what is needed in your business facility!
