A Special "Thank You" to Lynne Sessions, Director of Community Relations at The Arc Otsego for presenting "Entrepreneurship and The Not-for-Profit: Creating Relevant and Sustainable Organizations"
The presentation drew from Case Studies in Cultural Entrepreneurship: How to Create Relevant and Sustainable Institutions, which Lynne Sessions co-authored with Dr. Gretchen Sullivan Sorin of the Cooperstown Graduate Program, Lynne discussed how five, very different, not-for-profit cultural organizations used entrepreneurial thinking to find opportunity in complex situations and the needs of their surrounding communities to create relevant and sustainable organizations. Their unique journeys provided inspiration and ideas for professionals working in a variety of not-for-profit organizations.
